The restaurant, housed in a circa-1928 building, resembles a chalet on the outside and a log cabin on the inside. It's also a local institution and a great place to meet friends. The Canadian cuisine makes the most of local ingredients, and you'll find a selection of Alberta steaks, local fish and handmade burgers. In the evenings, locals gather at the upstairs bar and watch TV or play pool and darts while they drink. Happy hour kicks in each day from 4pm to 7pm, and when the weather's mild, the revelry spills out onto the outside patio.
